COUNTRY: USA

STYLE: Hard Rock

PROFILE: Walking With Kings are a brand new melodic hard rock outfit from the USA featuring the line-up of: Rich Ward (Fozzy, Stuck Mojo and Adrenaline Mob) – Guitars/Vocals/Producer/Songwriter; Frank Fontsere – Drums; Simon Farmery (Pride) – Bass and Terry Chism – Vocals/Keyboards/Songwriter.

The album is a collective songwriting effort between Rich Ward and Terry Chism. The album is a rock album consisting of 10 tracks that deliver a positive message in our troubled world. The song, “Leap of Faith”, is about those that have enough faith and courage to make life-changing and life-altering decisions. Many of us are willing to take such a risk, yet, far too many will continue to walk along the edge and stand in judgment of those that took “the leap” and didn’t make it.

As a long time fan, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Rich Ward was taking part in a Christian music project. Oftentimes rock ‘n’ roll and Christianity are at odds, but the band Walking With Kings really beats those odds. Never once while listening to this album did I ever get that “You’re going to Hell because you listen to Slayer” vibe. Walking With Kings’ debut album is filled with some solid rock songs that are exceptionally inspiring without being preachy or sanctimonious.  I highly recommend it to rock fans who want some honest, spiritually uplifting music with a hard rock edge.
