Tempesta

Country Switzerland

Style Modern Hard Rock

Profile What started rather small and modest in 1994 developed over the past years into a remarkable act called TEMPESTA. Tempesta is the Italian word for storm. This storm has grown thanks to many gigs and contests, and managed to add different influences like country, rap and other modern elements to its powerful guitar sound.

In the year 2004 the band decided to record a CD professionally. Engaging Mark Sweeney (Crystal Ball) as a producer, the RMB studios in Duisburg, Germany were chosen to record the CD “FULLTIME JOKER – Fill the voids”. Studio owner Michael Bormann (ex Jaded Heart, etc.) brought himself in as an engineer and Co-Producer to give the CD an additional positive surge. With their fresh, powerful and sometimes unexpected sound Tempesta makes it clear that not every album out of Switzerland has to sound like Krokus or Gotthard.

The ten powerful songs burst with energy, and despites influences like Metallica, KidRock or Nickelback, Tempesta can’t be put to one side. As soon as the group finds a good label partner they want to go back on stage. That is Tempesta in their fullest. Their last self produced CD sold itself to over 7000 fans in Switzerland alone. Tempesta – a name to remember, because you can’t get away from it.¬†
