Style Melodic Hard Rock

Profile Wearing the 5 elements of voice, power, charisma, charm and appeal like a loaded gun, the renegade southern gentleman, Jac Dalton is a true front man and band leader in every sense of the word. JAC DALTON “Dalton’s voice has something reminiscent of a younger David Coverdale – rich honey and whiskey seeping through velvet wrapped charcoal” – Shane Pinnegar/The Rockpit.

2010 was the year of the debut album titled “Icarus” produced by Grammy Award Winner Gregg Brown (USA) and Darren Mullan (Australia) at the world famous Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. Multi Grammy Award winning engineer John Hampton, an Ardent stalwart, took a personal interest in the album and came on board as engineer. It is more than one opinion that this album is going to shake things up on both sides of the equator. From the soaring vocals and guitars and uplifting message of the title track Icarus to the anthemic State Of Rock, the groove laden riffs of Waterline and the bone-crunching Suck, Bang, Blow (co-written with ‘Rose Tattoo’s’ Rob Riley), ICARUS offers up a sound and performance that will resonate across borders and generations.

The day has come, and the JAC DALTON Band are releasing their new opus “PowderKeg” today, February 25, an explosive collection of songs blending traditional Melodic Hard Rock sound with timeless Classic Rock riffs and hooks. The Jac Dalton Band also does a cover of one of my favorite Aerosmith songs ever: “Sweet Emotion”, and they indeed deliver an emotional, punchy, highly melodic version of this classic. This is high quality American FM Radio Melodic Rock as they don’t make it anymore.
