Profile These are strange days, quickly flowing between dreams and disillusions. Social decadence is constantly chasing us while we are pointlessly trying to trail fake heroes, nowadays myths. This recurring theme is the main source of inspiration for “Fake Heroes”, a project newly born in February 2012 with the aim to communicate through music typical of many indie rock bands. Fake Heroes play a straight solid rock with a hint of Classic and Nu-Metal in an attempt to combine the sacred and profane, with feelings, emotions and states of mind evoked by life lived in a society driven by the frantic folly of a selected few holding in their hands the lives and destiny of many kept busy chasing false heroes and myths.

In April 2012 Fake Heroes release their first self financed and produced four track live EP named “Beyond This Glass” recorded at Ultrasonic Studio. The band has made several appearances in live festivals and band contests in their native land. In May 2012 Fake heroes were among the finalists for the Inedited World Music Festival in Rimini and in November of the same year appeared in “Sala Prove” a television show on Rock TV with the track “Don’t Believe Them as finalists of the Rock TV Music Contest. In late November 2012 the band under the supervision of Florence based producer, sound engineer, and musician Guido Melis record “Divide And Rule” their first official release for the German independent label Antstreet Records and Florence promoters Red Cat Promotion. The album is scheduled for release in April 2013.
