Style Hard Rock/Alternative Metal

Profile Deceit traces its origins to a cover project called The_River_of_Deceit, born in spring 2009. The meaning of this project is to recover 90’s American Rock and so it begins as a Cover band project. References are bands like Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Mad Season and Pearl Jam. In this period the band finds first gigs and improves its live experience. In the

same period takes place a b-side acoustic project and some members of the band fly to Dublin and go busking around in Temple Bar for few but unforgettable days. In Autumn 2009 the band decide to take a different way. The project’s name becomes DECEIT and the band begins to write its own music. In May 2010 the band is ready for recording. The right place to do it is Green River Studio.
Here the band starts recording its first EP, with the indispensable support and assistance of Tancredi “Tanca” Barbuscia. The result is 5 original wrock songs, self-released in the end of Sept 2010 (available on iTunes). During and post record session the band work hard to improve its live performances. In autumn 2010, Riff@1, the opener song in the EP, was selected by HOLLOW NATIONS – a french label located in Bordeaux – for ROAD RIOT RADIO, an International rock compilation, out Dec 7, 2010 (on digital store).
On Nov 5, H2b Video and Riccardo Bernardi produced Deceit 1st video, AIN’T SOMETHING (Best Video of The Week on MadeinsoundTv.weebly.com and included among the finalist of the italian video contest “Corti Sonici”. In Summer 2011 the second videoclip is ready for Youtube, RIFF@1 by H2b Video and Riccardo Bernardi. The song also selected for the NOIZE ITALIA decennial compilation.
