Profile Super rare WestCoast AOR indie gem from Germany. When you are familiar with all the Lord Records releases, like Damaris Joy, EternityII, Augenblicke, Style and bands like that and you like their exclusive Christian AOR, then this gem is right up your alley! Intercity is a very unknown band and they released their only album in 1992 at PIla Music (the biggest German Christian label). Musically they deliver 18 (!) songs of pure AOR / Westcoast, with great keyboards, tasty guitars and catchy songs.

“Drei Tage” opens the album with great keys and a big chorus and brings immediately Damaris Joy’s “Open Door”-album to my mind. “Ist Das Denn Alles” is another great AOR tune with a memorable hookline, while “Aufbruch” is a great instrumental song with big keyboards and great guitars, reminding me a lot of Toto. The mood-lifting uptempoo song “Entdeckung” comes along with rocking guitars and reminds me of Style, while “Hey, Es Ist Liecht” combines rocking guitars with bombastic keyboards and sounds like a mix of Eternity II and Augenblicke. The production is also excellent and out of print for a long time….
