Profile WOW, I bet most of you see this album for the first time… And I was really surprised of what I heard: GREENBACK offer 10 songs of pure AOR with a great mix of rocking and dominating guitars and big keyboards, very good and powerful female lead vocals and catchy songs reminding me of acts like MERRY N, GAIA, CHARITY, TURBO RED, BAD SISTER and TWO ARE ONE.

No matter which song you chose, they are all very good… It starts with the rocking opener “Go” that immediately brings MERRY N to my mind and also some influences of BAD SISTER and it continues with the nice “Never Give Up” similar to GAIA and the 2 killer songs “Who” and “Burn Without Fire”, both reminding me of CHARITY meets TURBO RED.

The production is good for an indie release and I’m pretty impressed by the quality musicianship (especially the guitar work is outstanding) and of course lead singer Lenka Reimann’s great vocals. This is a great indie release and if you are looking for a rare and obscure indie CD, including quality songs and musicianship, then you should grab this baby!
