Profile Scott Ginn is a multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, producer and engineer hailing from Sydney. He was a stalwart of the Australian hard rock scene in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, perfoming in well known oz hard rock bands such as Boss and Rags ‘n’ Riches. He has only recently returned to the music scene after a twenty year absence with his new project – Mazz-XT. Scott released his first solo album ‘ Ginn – One Man Army’ in 1986, writing, performing, engineering and producing all the tracks. The original vinyl LP release was a short production run, and only released in Australia, and thus copies of the original record are now quite rare and collectible. Now in 2016, the ‘One Man Army’ album is re-released as a special 30th Anniversary edition – digitally remastered from the original analogue recordings and includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks. The One Man Army material is a mixture of pure hard rock and melodic rock. It’s a powerful production with big guitars, great riffs and multi-layered vocals. If you’re into the music of AC/DC, Whitesnake and UFO, then the One Man Army material should appeal to you.
