Profile This quarter rock band from Oudômxai comes out with absolute gem called “The Exile” lead by legendary Mr. Peth Noravong. They formed in 1991 as the first heavy metal from Laos by musicians who moved to Ontario, Canada since 1975. Their first album “Our Homeland” was recorded in 1991 in Canada and released on tape only having a sound of the U.S. hard n’ Heavy bands of the period with strong guitar parts, nice key passing and vocals. The band recorded two more albums one in Thailand in 1995 and the other in Germany in 1999 with a harder sound, therefore had a successful tour in Thailand and Laos but also tv appearances in Thailand.
