Profile Diamond Edge hailed from Portland, Oregon formed in the early 90s releasing independently this 6-track mini album back in 1992 in limited copies. Smokin’ hot hard rock/metal indie with lots of 80’s influences blend with some prog hits. At times they remind of the fantastic Angel X band. The group does a great job with the 6 songs on this release – including the atmospheric ballad “Winds Of Fire” which vocally, is compared to Geoff Tate of Queensrÿche. The opener “Head Above Water” even has a Kiss feel to it. Super cool looking band that should have gone a lot further with their music. The band also released a demo in 1995 before they changed their name to Glass Chunk and later to Chunk.
