Profile Crosswind Band hailed from Long Island, New York formed in 1979 fronted by Rich Dickerson. Their debut album came out in 1987 via SOS Records and produced by Peter Denenberg. A very well produced album with harmony tunes, well composed songs, pompus keys and harmony backing vocals. A rarity in nowdays released only on vinyl in limited copies. The band disbanded in 1990 and Rich Dickerson moved to LA and began work as a music supervisor for movies such as Miramax “In Too Deep”, Miramax “Paid In Full” and Warner Bros. “Queen of the Damned.”

Used to go to the clubs on Long Island in the 80’s to see Crosswinds play. They played well, put on a good show. I miss those days.
