Profile I would describe these guys as sort of a poor man’s Maxus with a dash of Pablo Cruise thrown in the mix. Definitely westcoast AOR of the lighter sort, but with enough guitars to keep things intresting. In 1981 Chris joined forces with two other recording artists, Bill King songwriter performer and keyboard player whose credits included having worked with both Janis Joplin, and the Pointer Sisters, and Danny McBride songwriter guitarist with an extensive recording background. Together they formed the the band “China” and joined forces with Bob Dylans Grammy winning producer Bob Johnston and Charlie Danials, signing with CBS Epic. The album was released later that year.
