Profile Great and very hard to be found album released in 1981, recorded in a studio at Maschen (South of  Hamburg). The band formed in 1980 by Daniel Kovac, released as far as I know 2 albums – 1 in German language and 1 with English lyrics. This selftitled debut is the English one that was released in 1981 and contains pure AOR.

Opener “Running Out Of Love” for example is a great song that immediately reminds me of BALANCE, while “Shiver In The Night” sounds exactly like a song from BE Taylor Group’s classic album “Our World” and “22 Degrees Below” offers pumping keys as well as driving guitars all over – a song that make me think of Shooting Star meets Coney Hatch, while “Suburbia” and “Nervous Energy” again brings Balance from their great “In For The Count”-album to my mind.

A real AOR fan gets everything what he’s longing for: pumping AOR keys, smoking hot guitars with brilliant solos, fills and riffs and great songs that will transform you right back into the 80’s. If you like the above mentioned bands (and who does not?) worth the try if you ever find it. The album also  re-released once in 1992 on CD that is long out of print.
