Style Hard Rock

In 1990, in Hanau  a town in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis, in Hesse keyboarder Bernd Reichert, formed the band Lakehurst and secured for the part of the front woman the services of Nicole Brown, who had been first to have success with the band Gambler. The idea for the band name referred initially to a first album, which should address the crash of the airship Hindenburg.

In subsequent years, however, it moved away from the spirit and self-produced in the studio of Marc Bugnard LFT (ex Roko) with various line-up changes the debut of “Miracles”, which was then published in the Millennium year. The melodic hard rock of Silberling’s not only achieved first success in the media world, but you could also convince yourself with the settled line-up since 1999. End of 2002 was followed by the EP “So Sexy”, which was also produced by Roko media (Robert Kohlmeyer, former Roko) on their own.

These included the song “Stay”, which gain worldwide positive press reactions, and was recorded at various radio stations airplay around the world, including what led to the German Melodic Webradio and Internet Radio Newcomer Award for “Hammer band in 2002.” Over the whole of 2005 the quintet tinkering away on a worthy follow-up album. “Close your Eyes” was recorded back then including at Roko media, and in the studios Bazement by Markus Teske (including Mob Rules, Vanden Plas, etc.).

The latter, also responsible for the mixing and mastering of the disc officially missed a powerful and modern sound. Show is the CD with glossy booklet and 2-track DVD (video to “Stay” and “Ludmilla”). First preliminary votes of the trade press “Close your Eyes” prove that the modern melodic hard rock lives and do not rely on a label to produce quality “Lakehurst succeed with their new album again an absolute top product!”
