Profile British NWOBHM band from Lancaster formed in 1980 and disbanded in 1984, only released one 7” single in their lifetime (the rare and sought-after “Running Blind” b/w “My My My”) and are most definitely one of the most obscure NWOBHM bands of all time. Yet they still retain a cult appeal, as proved by the success of their performances – their first in almost 30 years – at Newcastle’s Brofest in 2013 and again at Brofest 2 in 2014 (the band were one of only two or three who were asked back for the second festival).

In 2005, German label High Vaultage put out a Bashful Alley album on CD called “It’s About Time”. Released under licence from guitarist, singer and chief songwriter Rob Tidd, this consisted of the two tracks from the band’s only single and eight other demo tracks. A few years later another German label, High Roller, released the album in a very limited run on vinyl.
