Profile Here’s another private AOR Soft Mellow hard to find from 1984 one of the best years in music,  a superb record from Scott MacGougan and singer/songwriter Greg Murat, playing breezy AOR with nice guitar and saxophone. The nucleus of the Banana Brothers is the vocal blend of Jamie Phalen and Greg Murat. Jamie’s brilliant sense of harmony, make any of the songs to heard great. The rhythm interplay between Murat’s acoustic guitar and Jamie’s congas create the foundation of their music. The album represents songs Jamie and Greg have developed during the last four years before the album’s release, at clubs like Ricardo’s, Taylor’s and Venus, where they defined their style of music and drank entirely too much.
