Profile Jae-Beum Yim,the former vocalist of “Sinawe”, and Do-Kyoon Kim, the former guilar player of “Baek Du San”. When the news said they would release an album together under the name “Asiana”, Korean metal fans were so excited. Do-Kyoon Kim already measurably succeeded while he was in “BaekDoo San”. the band was on TV every week. and Jae-Beum Yim was known that he had unique voice and no one had heard voice like this before in Korea.

Despite of big success, Do-Kyoon Kim suddenly left the band behind and went to England in 1988. He said he still don’t know the reason but the ‘unkown power’ called him to come to England. While he was studying on Heavy metal in its birthplace, He convinced and invited Jae-Beum Yim to England. They met together and formed a band named “Sarang(means “Love” ) with 2 local English musicians. They played their music around nearby clubs and had a chance to show on BBC TV program. after that Do-Kyoon Kim kept in touch with Jeff Beck. After Do-kyoon Kim and Jae-Beum Yim came back to Korea, they formed Asiana with other 2 Korean musicians, but at the moment in Korea, the recording facilities were old fashioned. They had to take a fligh to England again and produced and recorded an album in Matrix studio.

Though the band split up soon, this album is known as a ‘one last masterpiece’ in the end of 80s heavy metal scene in Korea, every songs except ‘Missing You’ were written in English.
