Profile Dave Arazmo began playing the guitar at age 13. He practiced 8 to 9 hours a day and learned melodies by ear from listening to records and tapes even figuring out television themes like Sanford & Son, Night Rider, The Rockford Files and Price is Right theme. Dave loves to record, yet does so rarely. Dave’s influences are Van Halen, Randy Rhodes, Steve Morse, Yngwie, Albert Lee, Eric Johnson, and Al Dimeola, to name a few. Dave digs newer players like Johnny Hiland, and the guys in A7X. Dave has been working as professional musician since 1988 and has played in a variety of musical acts from metal to a Doo-Wop Oldies band and a Touring Bee Gees tribute. Dave began teaching guitar at age eighteen at Seminole Music. Dave also studied the guitar with Joe Braccio.

In 1989 Dave took his band “Arazmo” on the road with Fantasma Productions. In 1994 and 1995 Dave won “Best Guitarist” in the Bay Area Music Awards. The Arazmo band released “Notice to Appear” a 15 song original cd in 1995. I like ‘Yours truly’ as a decent ballad and ‘Watch out’ is a killer hard rock song. The guitar work is screaming. These guys came out too late (early 90’s) to make it big with the grunge scene taking over. Overall this CD has a slightly original and interesting vibe to it. While I will not call it great, I will say it is a decent stab at a worthy hard rock album.
